just started recently i was driving around and when i put the pedal to the floor at a low rpm(3000-4000) my car wouldnt build any boost at all for some reason(normally hits full boost at about 4500) so i would pump the gas a few times and then it would finally kick in and start builing boost again. now its doing it everytime and the pumping the gas thing isnt owrking anymore. it sounds like a nasty boost leak but i cant find it. when i rev it in neutral the blow off valve still opens up but doesnt hit nearly as hard as it should. but heres the weird part...whenever i floor it lets say at like 3000rpm there will be no boost at all till at about 6000 then out of no where it will just hit full boost and throw me back and hold it all the way to 8000. what the hell is going on? any ideas? and i dont want to hear all of you all motor fucks sayin shoulda just went all motor...jk

i was ragging on it leaving race wars??? i left when there was like only 20 cars leftin the whole place. haha i dont remember. yea it does seem like a boost leak but why all of a sudden does it hit full boost at a high rpm? it seems like since theres more pressure at a higher rpm it would increase the leak even more??? oh well ill check it out tommorrow. thanks

well technically it is leaking more at high rpms it is just that instead of your wastegate bleeding the boost your leak is and you dont realize it. The reason you are boosting up high now is because at lower rpms your car is not making enough boost to compensate for the leak and it takes until high rpms to reach the point were boost is being bleed by the wastegate.

Check the turbine and compressor housing bolts that used to happen to my old car they would wiggle loose and I would leak mad boost through the cartridge/compressor take your wastegate off and check that it is closing all the way too they can get stuck open from time to time but I doubt it just because it is a good wastegate take a little bucket of water put your hand in it and just get it wet and runit along your lines and look for cracks they are easy to see when wet if its just black rubber if its silicon you should be able to see the crack.........if none of that works check the shaft/wheels for excessive play or rubbing.....
