why my 94 ls wont pass 3 grand

Default why my 94 ls wont pass 3 grand

some one help me please i just install a 94 ls motor into a eg the car starteverything works itsjust it wont rev pass 3 grand like it has a rev limiter or something

sounds like its in limp mode ...what codes do you have? make sure the tps and map plugs are not reversed

limp mode .. i have a ecu in lakeland 40 bucks it will run it ..its a p06

Randomly replacing parts such as a distributor is pointless if you have not checked the malfunction indication codes.
