peak and hold injectors used with an ecu for satur

Im assuming one can use peak and hold injectors with an ecu that was meant for saturated injectors as long as one puts the resistor box in place but can anyone confirm this?
Somewhere I read that peak and hold could not be used with the 92+ ecus and thats the reason I ask the question.
