Default Ls/v Or Poormans???

Ok Tr So Im Having A Problem Deciding Wat Motor To Put In My Integra. Wat Would Be Better A Nice Little Lsv Setup With With High Performance Parts Or A Poormans Type R With High Perfomance Parts? Please Help.

This is a vary vague question. If you are stripping both motors down and completely rebuilding them then the lsvtec will produce more power due to a little larger displacement.

The only reason to build a poor mans r is if you have a gsr short block fully assembled in your garage and your friend has an extra complete b16 head...or something along those lines. lsvtec will always make more power due to displacement. If you have no motor at this time and are building from scratch get a b20 block and b20vtec it.

thankss i think lsv is wat ima doo. i got a full ls swap and a full b16 swap so ima just buy pistons rods, retainers, springs, cams and camshaft and studs. Also i was wondering should i change the crank on the ls block when i do lsv
