12v comming from the ecu?
chipped and vtec converted p06, honda manual says it should be putting out "appox. 5 volts" to the IAT sensor. i have a code for the IAT sensor and when i check it, the sensor measures bad (infinate resistance), but i get 12 volts from the ecu, not 5v. could this be what killed the sensor? or is it ok to have 12v instead of 5v? i dont want to replace it and have the new one get fried imediatly.

ill go measure the voltage comming out of D15 and D22 at the ECU. but if it says 12v there it means the ECU is bad right? prolly means i fucked something up when adding the vtec parts.

HAH! i must have never actually measured it at the ECU because when i did just now i got 5v. i had an issue with a bad multimeter and i know i tested it but it must have been with the bad one. and then i got the new one and only tested the plug. which was the wrong one. it was to evap purge plug. thanx for the help everyone. and thanx to econobox for pinpointing the prob is 2 seconds flat!
