spark

fuel injectors tick

fuel pump is on and it gets pressure

why is it not running

i already sang songs to it and told it i would stop saying hoa around it.

i told it to go to sleep maybe it hasnt woken up yet?

88dx crx --> z6 with y8 head manifolds header

Have you run a compression check?
If the head was just recently installed have you checked cam timing?
Other than some form of massive compression loss or seizing I dont see why it wouldnt turn over if youre getting spark and fuel.

damn good suggestion.
Check the spark plug wiring and make sure youve got them connected in the right firing order.
Just fixed a guys car the other week with the same problem. Easiest money I ever made.

we have turned the distributor 180 degrees and tried it also.

so i believe that would negate theproblem of whether or not you know the timing is off.

weve also siwtched the plug wires around in hopes maybe it would start like that

good old engine starting fluid in the throttle body is going to happen next .

i swaere to god ihate this car

yes we did the dx--->si wiring correctly but you know what

just because i touched it

its not going to run

just because i touched it i probably A.D.Ded the whole thing to hell

is there gas in it (instead of sugar or water)?? ecu fuse? bad ecu maybe? too rich? what injectors are in it?
dont know if this would make a difference but are the injectors wired backwards? are the correct style (peak vs saturation)
