with a OBD0 car im running obd1 injectors..to do this i just unplug the resistor box and cut the wires and twist all them toghter right? thats all i got to do to make it work? and also when you do that you have to use obd1 computer right?
im not too good with the conversion stuff..

You are correct. Concerning an ecu, you do not have to change over to an obd1 ecu when using high impedance obd1 or obd2 injectors.

 

ok well i got a problem now..it starts up for like 2 seconds then shuts off..ive got spark becasue i checked and it sparked a couple times after it shuts off..so it must be fuel cutting out..the computer could be shutting off the injectors right? and how do i check to make sure they are obd1? casue the lil tab is off to one side..not in the middel..dont know if that makes a diff...

Use a multimeter to check impedance

obd0 = 2-3ohms
obd1-obd2a &b = 12 ohms

obd0 = peak and hold and need resistor box
obd1 and above = saturated and don't use resistor box

 

ok thank you very much..well the car starts up for about 2 seconds then shuts down..i have spark like a few times after it shuts off so what would casue it to shut the injectors off? or something else..i dont know why it wont stay running..

ok this is where im at...i have a b16a in a EF..it SI so everything is pluged in...now..i have a obd1 dizzy on it with the jumper harness for the dizzy..i removed the resistor box becasue i have obd1 injectors...its still on the obd0 si computer..and it will only run for a second then shut off..will the obd1 dizzy work with the obd0 computer? or do i have to wait and get a jumper and plug in my p28 to make it run? this car is getting confusing..thanks alot tr

 

obd1 distributor wont work with obd0 even with jumper harness. You need an obd1 ecu. The distributor obd1+ has different ignition timing teeth than obd0 so the timing wont be right.
