Default Header Selection

Okay okay i know theres probably a thread like this somewhere, but this is me now....looking into headers' for a mild B build. Choices are RMF Narrow Replicas, Hytech Tri-Y reps or a Big Tube. All experience or advice appreciated.

all are 2.5" collector and very similar in tubing except big tubes, which right now are kinda leading the pack for me.

just curious if I had the OEM JDM 98+ ITR header would I see much of an improvement going to one of these? It already has a 2.5" collector.

the second ones are..---2.5 collector
---Machined CNC manifold flange
---Flange is .38" which is just about 3/8" thick
---18G on the 304 S/S. Measured at .049" to .050"</FONT>

YES!! I have a DC JDM Type R and honestly am no longer satisfied, have seen Dyno comparisons and its ridiculous.

Stay away from the big tube unless you are a high comp 2.0L or bigger. They suck on 1.8L setups and have a huge dip in mid power. The SMSP triY you have pictured would probably be your best bet. The RMF clone is ok too and both have good ground clearance.
