okay so i have a MISSFIRING eg with a ls b16 tranny swap

its misfiring real bad but the car is still dependable

my friend and i were messing with the wires by the ecu and found out the the one of the fuel injector wires was loose we fixed that problem and it till misfires

i had the same problem when the single cam was in there so honestly i think its gotta do with wiring

my engine harnes had been replace

ANYONE HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY??

really all you can do in such a case like that is check out what all would make it misfire. Check your plug gap( make sure it's with in spec ) check your wires for burns/breaks. Check your cap and rotor( make sure the points look good, and the rotor tip looks good ) check that your getting power to all of your injector plugs, while your doing that might as well check your fuel pressure, make sure it has enough. if all of that is said and done and nothing seems out of place, I'd just replace your injectors, or have them cleaned by an injector company. sounds to me though a good tune up is in order.

a good way to tell if your injectors are working properly is if you pull out a spark plug and notice the condition that it's in. if it's super dry and white, obviously no fuel is entering the combustion chamber. also if there is a check engine light. Make sure to get that checked out too.

 

u sure you got the spark plug wires on right

 

just get new plugs and wires then see what it does

also check your timing... when has your timing belt been changed ?

 

idk when my time has been check but just last night one of my beltz started to skreech. eveyone knows that sound. okay it has the same problem the single cam had it in i do no think its mechinal at all

make sure you got all your grounds even a few extras would be good

 

fuel pump could be takeing a shit. My buddys jeep just did this. He drove it around missing out for months untill it took the big shit. I have a stock pump and sending unit for 20bucks. for a eg. I'll let you try b 4 you buy.
