Default SOHC Guys need some help out

OK guys ive got a 91 crx and im going to be doing a sohc build. im going to boost this motor and ive heard a some things that i should consider. im wanting to run a d16y8 ive heard from some ppl that i should build a d16y6 instead some ppl say run a d16y6 block with d16y8 head. i want vtec so im not doing the build non-vtec. so if some one can clear this up for me that would be great so i know which is the better way to boost a d16

id go with a d16z6. y series engines do not have good oiling. only one galley on the crank per rod and oil pumps dont flow as much. if your set on a y8 def make sure you port and shim it

^ yes but don't turbo it or you'll end up killing someone or yourself (not because of the speed but because something new breaks every week)

originally we were doing the b16a swap but EVERYONE does that. we just want to do something different (including K-series) we're shooting for +400hp on a boosted D16z6 with hondata. we've got most of it planned out except the fuel injector size. any thoughts?
