Default d16a6-d16y7 head?

could i use all my d16a6 external parts such as Intake manifold aftermarket headers ect on the d16y7 head? or what would i need to make this work

would it be worth doing this? or is it not logical?

well it already said bye bye to my head gasket because it shoots white smoke lol and some oil comes out the exhaust so i need to take the head off anyway so what could that mean other than a head gasket?

When you swap everything over, swap the stock cam gears as well. The y7 has a keyway that is offset and will make it difficult to time your engine.

Then just change the head gasket.. and get new head bolts. Cheap from honda..

its about a 2 hr job..

head gasket is 45. from honda.. and headbolts are 7.00 each...

so.. 115.00 in parts.. and 2 hrs of work to have it back to normal.

could it be anything other than a head gasket causing these issues with the oil coming out? turning my back bumper black and the white smoke idling and driving
