The weight is what you want to concentrate on as well as flow patterns if you want quiet get a mugen I love mine but if I had to get another it would be a tanabe RM the weight is good(a little lighter)/piping is good quality the thermal is good as well.

Definetly 5Zigen I have a complete Cat back on my integra and sound s amazing also just to note while my car is in the shop i took of the rear section and put it on a friends civic then another guys CRX the civic sounded terrible but the CRX sounds beautiful. There was alot of upgrades on the CRX so your experiences may not be the same. Good luck

who cares how loud the exhaust is. The racing medallion was specially designed for minimal bends to increase power. and a friend of mine had one on his rex and it wasnt that loud at all.

A 5zigen universal or axle back with 2.25 or 2.5 piping from the cat back would flow much better than a RD. I would think that anyways because the 5zigen comes straight over and out the right axle and the RD has a few more bends to it.Anyways just my 2c.

all this talk about exhaust reminds me to tell yall... try to steer clear from the dale mabry and waters area. there is one officer who works for the hillsborough sheriffs office and he has a real hard on for imports. if your exhaust is louder then stock he can you give a ticket and it cost 60 bucks i know cause he has giving me the ticket and there is nothing you can do about it i guess its a new law or something. and just if your wondering about what exhaust i have its a tanabe racing medallion it hasnt been modified or anything so its not god awfully loud and no the silencer wasnt in when he had pulled me over

Grass Roots Motorsports Magazine just did a extensive exhaust comparison. They measure horsepower and torque ratings with all the different systems on one car. The results will suprise you. A custom made system with a cheap-o turbo muffler yeilded great numbers! And it was the cheapest at under 200 bucks! Good article. The mag is at Barnes & Nobles.

Yeah i read that article you would be suprised how you dont need to spend a lot of money on exhaust. I have a type r b pipe on my hatch. They run about 150 from acura. I plan on buying a canister soon to quiet it down some. I like the stock looking exhaust.
