Default brake disc conversion on EF

Ok well im doing an 4 wheel disc conversion on my EF. It has b18a1 motor and we had to take the intake manifold off to get the brake booster off because it was bad now my question is that it seemed like the 90'-93' integra ls 1 that i had would not fit cause it was wider. I currently just bought the stock booster for the car now when ppl do these conversions do they swap out the booster and master cylinder to an ls? Because im not sure if the ls 1 will fit with the bigger motor...Any advice would help.

Thank You,

Matt

I would just use a handheld grinder. Find out where its nicking the caliper, and grind it down till it doesnt hit. Try to take off as little as possible though.

when i did my teg rear disc conversion on my hatch i used the teg master cylinder and booster also proportioning valve.. with this along with crossdrilled and slotted rotors on the rear and crossdrilled rotors in the front and steel braided brake lines all around my car stops on a dime (valvoline sythetic fluid was used with this.). so yeah it will work and you will love it. also for the hx's they will not clear the teg calipers. you will either have to shave them down or put on spacers. on my hatch i put spacers on and i had no problems with them.

well im having trouble with the calipers sticking and smoke is coming from the rim. Would the proportioning valve cause this? I also on my the hatch i have a central point where the galvanized metal brake lines go to and then go to the master or calipers not sure(i believe its called a distribution block) could it be that its clogged? The calipers are brand new just bought them from advance today.

Where is the smoke coming from? Is it like your driving with the brakes on?
