It does end up costing a good bit depending on which motor you end up going with. You can always go the inexpensive route. LS/Vtec. Or just go with a straight LS swap.

thos are back in the day prices..you can buy a swap complete now for around 1100..and most places do it for 300-400 installing....i mean you have a Ex so all the wireings done for you..i would talk with the T$C and see what he can do for you

Hmotorsonline. expensive but if you talk to them and negotiate yu can really get everything you need

Hmotors sells great motors, but they are crazy expensive! Shop around!

damn dude if you were closer i would lend you my hoist and help you put it in. fastest i've ever swapped a motor is 6 hours and that was by myself.

Im thinking it will take about 2 days because you will have to convert the harness in the type R to OBD1 to make the most of it. Having just done the swap their will be some minor piece needed and you always realize it after all the parts places have just closed. Keep us updated!!
