if your running the stock MAP sensor then you can only go up too ~10lbs anyway, that's all it'll read. your computer will freak out cause it won't read the excess pressure. get a 4 bar MAP sensor.

It is fine. Get a good tune. If you want to make some serious power with the stock bottom end grab some 1000cc injectors, Walbro 255 hp (rewire to battery through Bosch relay) and a good tune for E85. You can do a 93 octane tune and E85 tune

i was only thinking of 270 hp with 93 octane, and no more than 12 lb, and alpha i have a 255 walbro but 450 dsm injectors , do you thing that's enough ?

You don't need anything more than a stock sensor at 12lbs...I run a stock map at 11lbs and it runs fine. I also have dsm 450s (black tops). Your fine with that setup just make sure a good tuner does your tuning.

I don't go over 10lbs with the stock map sensor. If someone can't afford a $50.00 sensor wanting to go over 10lbs turbo isn't for them. Reason being is boost cut can't be set ideally if you're running 11lbs of boost with a stock map sensor

^ very true...I just haven't gone out to get a new map sensor yet and was simply stating you could boost above 10lbs on a stock sensor since a post above mine said you couldn't. And just for clarification (not to you alpha you already know)...it isn't a good idea to do because you also can't adjust fuel/timing past what the stock map can read pressure wise. Therefor your tune won't be spot on.

ya dude build the block if you can cause you can make more boost if you want and less chance your car will go boom and blow up lol, but ya 12lb should make 270 ish if everything else is good, and im bout to use alpha to tune my car if my buddy will come time it lol so just an idea for a tuner
