Turbo Question!! Need Help!!

well like said before not getting rid of my turbo..
just trying to figure out what to do with this bolting up right

an adaptor leaves more room for a leak. just have the flange on the manifold changed out.

liek well i was thinking bout taking it to a shop n teloing them to weld on 4 bolt flange to make it fit n cover up holes that might be left over..

no thats a horrible idea lol...most new turbos are a 4-bolt design. your manifold isnt a quality piece so just have it fitted for your 3 bolt manifold. proper fit end of issue.

theres no 3 bolt manifolds lol
al turbo manifolds are 4 bolt..

i wouldnt trust the weld on that cast!! if done right an adapter will be fine. however i will do whatever u feel needs to be done. just tell me what its worth to you.

that looks like a cheap turbo upgrade for a wrx like some kind of generic 20g knock off. what you need to do to make it work correctly is to change the rear housing to a td05 or td06 (depending on the wheel that is in that turbo) super 20g because that is a t3 exhaust flange with a mitsubishi compressor housing. btw 20g's don't really last all that long. if you don't know what flange you need to build your turbo kit maybe you need to sit down and do more research about what you are about to get yourself into before you end up with a blown motor. if it were me, i'd sell it, thats too much hassle for that turbo.

Just get rid of that turbo and get a regular t3 flanged turbo.
