for a friend:


how much hp can the dx handle???


and is building the internals and getting a different head best or would swapping a different motor be the best way to go for more power.....

LOL. Hes just saying rather then spending the money to find out you wont be happy with the power (or lack thereof) that you would get out of that motor just do it right the first time. The DX motor is not the ideal platform - though it would be rather cheap to replace if you blew it up.

thanks....


this was just for a friend and he would be happy with a 15 sec car

he just wanted to know the best way and roughly what his options are......


he isnt trying to build a drag car just a quicker than stock dx..


p.s. if he does want an motor swap i know where to send him.....
