Has anyone ever seen this done and if so what are the advantages and disadvantages? Also performance gains! Thankx

you mean a chiped one like skunk2? maybe why do u need it? you could get yours rebrunt . also i dunno if i would do it onless i need to rev higher or alota fule . it can be done you might wana go to ob1 maybe.

Yeah a chipped one. I want to convert to obd1 in order for me to do a test pipe or is that not necessary? I heard that with my obd2 I will most likely throw a code because of the sensors in the cat. Even with the O2 bungs on the test pipe it will still throw a code. Oh and the extra fuel wouldnt hurt

yup gona have to go odb1 i think if u pm team sivler they have a hook up with this stuff. and you could be on the road puffing smoke in no time

My GSR throws an exhaust code with my straight pipe on there Neal has a fix for it he said without having to convert to obd-1
