1- about how much of a compression gain would i gain from a head shaved 30 thousandths?
2- would a malfunctioning speed sensor cause a loss in power?

actually on a vtec motor a faulty vss (vehicle speed sensor) would throw a code and vtec would not engage unless you had some sort of aftermarket vtec controller so on a vtec motor you wont get vtec if the vss is bad therefore slower car if non vtec and vss is bad no it wont be slower.
