Id like to start building a 1.8 block within the next couple months need a few ? asked first I know CTR pistons dont work with B16a rods but I need to know will ITR or CTR pistons work with B18c1 rods? is there any differance between ITR rods and B18c1 rods? also does anyone know where I can get the a crank balanced? or a machine shop to inspect the block of cracks

yes you can use the itr or ctr pistons with your b18c rods. i would use the itr though because if you use the ctr you compression will be way to high for a daily car. the itr rods and gsr rods are the same

it wouldnt go any higher than 11.5:1 what kinda of head do you plan on using? if you use a gsr head go with usdm integra type r pistons it will give you about a 11.3:1 if you use a b16 head use some jdm integra type r pistons which will give you about a 11.5:1 ratio

You can get the bottom end balanced at Dwans(pinellas) or Eiseleys(Tampa). For balancing Eiseleys prices was a little more $140 vs $125 (crank rods pistons balanced) but the other prices were a little cheaper. I liked their service.
