If you have the white wire hooked up you dont use the violet(+) or the green (-).One is a Points circuit (White wire) and the others are Magnetic Pickup circuit (Violet and Green wires). If you hooked up the white you dont need to hook up the v/g wires.

Thanks I got it all hooked up but the car isnt getting any spark.. I have it hooked up like this:
MSD SCI-L
THICK RED - + on battery
THICK BLK - - on battery
Thin RED - Spliced into positive wire from stock coil harness
Thin WHT - Spliced into ground and tach from stock coil harness
Orange - Positive on MSD Blaster 2 Coil
Think BLK - Ground on MSD Blaster 2 Coil
Cut the two wires in the SCI-L so it will see my motor as a 4 cyl and I put the 7000 rpm module in. Car will not turn over not making any spark. So I connected to ground and tach wires from the stock coil harness and ran them to the ground on the msd coil and I connected the power wire from the stock coil to the positive on the msd coil and the car started right up ... think the ignition is shot? I just bought it yesterday and it was brand new in the box .. thanks for the help.
