EF Coilovers on EG
Can coilovers (real coilovers, no ebay sleeves) from an ef fit an eg? If not what are the differences...

no its the diameter,ef are smaller you may have binding problems and if coilovers i dont even think the sleeve will fit over a Eg strut

The diameter of the coil springs are exactly the the same the differences will be in the shock body and how they mount on the suspension on the car.

Yeah almost all coil-overs use a 2.5" inner diameter spring, but youll find the EG has a different width for the mounting on the bottom and the top hats are different. Also they are different lengths so you car will likely be far too low even at max adjustment. The shocks are also valved for a lighter car and so are the springs.
