Question why does my axle keep coming out?

Ever since I went to the track and raced 3 times I have been having problems with my axle. I have a eg civic with a ls transmission. The axle that keeps coming out is on the passenger side of the tranny. I know I shouldn't have been taking it to the track but the tranny is very new still and it shouldn't be giving me problems. I didnt have any problems till 2 days after I went and my axle popped out at a stop light, I got it back in and it seemed to be fine until last night when it came out again on my way home at 5 am. The axle wouldnt go back in for anything, but finally it did after an hour and i made it home. Is there anything I can do to fix my problem of my axle coming out?

I have talked to 3 people and they all say different things.
1. my axle is too short and I need a longer one
2. i have no lsd and i need that so it wont happen again
3. because my car is lowered the axle comes out sometimes

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Your probably just missing the ring that locks the axle into the splines when you push it in. It fits in the groove on the end of the axle, it acts like a spring loaded lock and keeps it from just wiggling out.

yeah, true that....quite possible ^^^^

but it should still have enough splines in to drive and not immobilize him.....

It comes out completely to where i can almost see the tip of it(about an inch further). I was traveling at 55 MPH and it felt as if my car went out of gear. I had to pull up pretty hard and push it back into place.
