Default Keep killing 3rd gear shift fork

Can anything else be breaking 3rd gear shift forks other than me being a crappy driver? I have had 2 different transmissions with about 3 or 4 bad shift forks in the last 8 months. I get them repaired and they break again. Could it be clutch or shifter related? I have had this car for about 6 years. The clutch is newer with the problems starting after i installed it. Only thing that keeps me thinking it is the clutch is its only 3rd gear

its a d16z6 transmission-

I wish there was a solution for the D's, mine is hosed for the third time now. IIRC, the 92-95 ex/si trans had the steel forks and the 96-00 had aluminum forks. Do a search on D-series.org under "transmission alley" and pay particular attention to posts by Transex and Aquafina, they seem to have the most experience rebuilding them.

I talked to aquafina on honda tech and he didnt have much to say, maybe im a bad driver, i thought about cryo treating, but need to look more into it. 96-00 had the steel shift forks, but its hard finding a nice ex transmission.
