ok so i am driving home and my shifter is not were is it suppose to be now it is 4 inches lower and i can not shift gears i am stuck in 2nd and i have to hold it up in order for it to not drop all the way down ......

WTF broke ?

i am looking a pic and it looks like the Through bolt, or the actual shifter broke

i am so lost because i can swtich gears when it is standing still, but when driving it's a bitch plus 1st seems to be gone and some goes for 3rd and 5th so the upper gears 2nd 4th and reverse work just fine

go under the car and make sure tht the bolt in the bottom of the shifter is tight and or is still in there the same thing happen wit my boys rex when the ebay short shifter broke

that's what i am thinking, but the thing is i can shift gears when it is shut off so wtf can be broken?

 

mostly the reason its hard 2 shift is cuz the shifter ant in the right spot so try tht b4 anything

i have to find out what it really means to grind gears lol but i do think 1st did a little. I have never driven a car with grinding gears so i don't know what it sounds like but i think 1st does

 

i mean wen you shit do you hear your tranny make a grinding sound??

 

it does that in 2nd sometimes

 

it has not done that in about 2 weeks so it did not bug me any longer

 

well bro take a look under the car and you mostly will find yo problem
