map sensor issue..

map sensor issue..
i had a check engine light on and i pulled the code. it turned out to be the MAP SENSOR.
heres the thing. i swapped out the old motor cause the miles were high. i put the same motor but from a different car into my car. Everything is fine except for the map sensor.
There is nowhere on the throttle body to put the map sensor on. but on the old motor (the 1 that is out of the car) the map sensor was on top of the Throttle body. where do i put it then? im using alot of gas and its burning alot of gas as well.
please help me out here. Thanks
