Poor mans LSvtec...
LS crank in a B16... wouldnt that give you a B16 with a little more than 1.8L ?? I wonder if these 1.8 stroker kits for the b16 are just ls cranks? All I can think of is possibly clearance issues... Anyone know?

Let me educate the uncivilzed...
Because of the shortened deck height of the B16a motor you will have a not so pleasant rod/stroke ratio...taking that you are still planning to use the stock 1.6 rods. Just get a b18 block those things are almost for free these days. You can build one decent block for less than $1200.00 as long as the block is in good condition and just need to be honed cleaned and all that happy stuff.

Im not planning to do this merely wondering if it would work. Answer: Yes it would work but not well due to deck height. Thanks pollo.
No crx thats a quote from some jackass trying to sell a crx that doesnt exist. I found it funny...

the deck height on the b16a 263mm the ls is 270mm. with 89mm stoke of the of the ls and the 137mm rods on the ls rods it will have definate clearance problems in the smaller block. teh toda stroker kits are just 87mm gsr crank 134mm b16a rods and bigger pistons and a 1.54 r/s ratio.
