Wiring up VTEC on GSR Civic Swap

My friend just swapped a 97 GSR motor into a 92 Civic Hatchback and he needs help wiring up VTEC. The motor runs and everything just no Vtec. If anyone knows how to do this then please respond. Thanks.

If the hatch is a vx or si than it is already wired for vtec. If he is using his existing wiring harness I dont know if the plugs match up for the vtec solenoid. It might be the ecu he is running also. there are too many possibilities with such a vague description. give us some more info on the setup and on the car so someone can more easily figure out the problem.

the vtec oil pressure ground
low oil pressure also.
something not hooked up on the ecu (vtec selonoid vtec oil pressure sensor)
those are some little problems that could be hindering your vtec.
2.the vtec selonoid plugs are the same for the selonoids on the vx si.
