Question about stock B16 valve springs
Are half of the springs doubled on a B16 motor?????

cause honda did not have time to put a set on the exhuast side,they were selling the cars to fast,or could just be cause the intake cam has a larger lift then Exuast,and the intake lube Snaps the valve back in unlike the exhuast

I talked to honda's ceo directly today while playing golf with him...he said they didn't put them on the exhaust side because they needed to cut weight off the car to make it go faster and they said that the extra friction from them caused the motor to not produce the desired horsepower figures.
i was talking to the little Japanese dude that put the b16's together. He said that in the first few hundred motors he forgot to put the second set of springs, so he just kept putting them together like that.. And what custom240sx said its just what the ceo came up with to cover up for him, cuz he uses drugs and he gets them for him so he cant get fired... lol
