a really good quality black leather/pleather for the headliner and main section of the door panels and for the cloth door trim and center arm rest, do a suede or velvet in either black or another color of your choice, should turn out very nice. are you also ordering a new carpet for it too?

sadly no. im going to soak it in some carpet cleaner then pressure wash it. maybe dye it. hmmm. leather or pleather headliner would also keep my car cool. :]
yes, whatever you do dont paint the plastics in your car because they always end up looking ricey. but yeah the leather, pleather with either vinyl or swede looks and feels really nice

So I picked up some leather with cushioning for the headliner for 10 bux. :] I'm guna go with leather for headliner and suade for the pillers and door panels. And uhmmmm what about dying my plastics back to black?? What can I use for it?
curious to see how this comes out, i'm in the process of trying to decide what I want for my car. Dark gray dash, dark gray carpets, black leather seats, light tan pillars and headliner is what is in there now. I was thinking about going with a dark gray headliner and arm rests on the center counsel and door panels to match the rugs but I wasnt so sure then my pillars are still light tan. I think they make the pillars and headliner a lighter color to make it look more roomy and spacious. IDK if black or dark gray will make my car look confined?
ok for the pillars here is wat i did and they came out lookin fresh like if they were stock.
step one ... clean and scrub them wit ajax and warm water ...
step two ... go buy satin apholtery paint..... like for plastics like lawn furniture ... but make sure you get satin or flat black cause the gloss looks shitty ... hope this helps ... it was a tip given to me by my interior guy ... gl though
