alright i have 89 dx crx with a d16a6 swap

i would like new mounts


i had a previous thread in which a person mentioned a company to buy them from

i only have the two sides and the rear the front mount was cut out because it had a b18 in there b4 the d16 was put in

what company makes these mounts and which one is the most reputable

Get stock mounts and get the mount inserts. I don't think I've ever seen aftermarket solid bushing mounts for ef with the stock motor.

 

well who makes inserts then?

 

I have seen inserts for some Hondas at Pep Boys........-Bob

 

dude your single cam is fine with stock mounts its not like your pulling any big hp out of it like i said AUTO ZONE

 

You can check energy suspension for the mount inserts.

Hasport makes a stock replacement mount kit for the EF that only uses those 3 mounts. They are billet and can be ordered in different stiffnesses. Just as long as your block isnt going to be swapped for a 92+ piece then your fine. If it is, youll have to go to innovative and have them make you a set. Just tell them your using an obd1/2 block and they'll account for the slight twist that you get with stock fitment mounts. Hasport currently does not make a driver side mount that will fit an EF with a block that isnt from the same generation, a stock mount flexes enough to fit but solid ones just dont give enough to make it line up.
