Default Help Me Tr My A/c Comes On And Off.

Ok So i have a 91 DA and i think i know but i dont for sure.It most of the time stays on while driving.Pull up to a light and it gets warm.Now i have headers and i think its getting it to hot.What should i do heat wrap the headers or what?Or what eles is it to make it come on and off i filled it up so its not low and not too high.Please help me tr.

did you flush the whole system and change out the parts b4 you pu t r134 in it "dryer/expansionvalve"

Step one, check fuses. If the one that controls your fan is blown, replace it. If all fuses are good, check that both your radiator and your condensor fans are spinning at idle. If not, and if you have good fuses it's fan motor time. If it stays cool when crusing down I75, your condensor fan motor has a problem cooling down your condensor when at idle. It's simple really.

Integras have full length condensers. Both fans should be on when the AC is on. It does sound like a fan issue. Check that first .

I did i made the fan's run together.So they are on they work im just thinkin its the headers.They get hot as shit so should i heat wrap them or what?

Do you have the fans pulling air into the engine compartment or pushing air out? IF YOU WIRE THE FANS BACKWARD THE HEADER HEAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM. If not I dont see the header being the problem.

Its blowing in.Is that the way it should be or should they be blowing out??They are done right i took it to a shop they did it.But what way should they be blowing??
