OK i need some help!!!! i swaped a i gen b16a into my 90 hatch std... well i had to change the hubs so the the new axles would fit.. The hubs are from a 90 crx si. When i tighten the axle nut the hub becomes very very hard to move... I know what the prob is but i dont know how o fix it when it is tighten down the axle pushes aginst the hub... Also anyone who knows how to wire up a std to b16a i am will to pay for u to do it and all the parts needed are supplied.

Yea i know that but i cant move this thing at all i guess that u would have to see it understand what i mean...

If you live in the Tampa area I know the wiring and would do it at a very fair price. pm me. Did you remove the dust shield from the si hub and the black rubber ring from the axle. If not that could be why you are binding. HTH

This makes no sense at all. I dont see how it would even be possible for a dust shield or anything on the hub for that matter to impede the driveshaft let alone cause it to not rotate. Are you sure the car wasnt just in gear when you tried to turn it? Youve got some user error somewhere there my friend.

well the 90-93 integra driveshafts that most people including myself use for the crx 4th gen civic swaps arent the most direct fit as far as axle length is concerned especially on the drivers side. The dust shield and the rubber ring are just enough to make them bind sometimes. They stil spin but not freely and there is friction when driving. And even when using the SiR axles the mount kits dont place the motor in the factory position like on newer 5th and 6th gen swaps so the axles still have a tendency to bind sometimes.

Hey yea it binds realy bad.. We had the axle nut half way on and we could not move the axle... If u go here there is a pic of what we are talking about.. http://www.hasport.com/B16axles.htm
