ok i hear this tapping sound coming from the valve cover.. some people are telling me its either the lma's or it a valve that needs adjusting. this week i have a buddy thats gonna take a look at it but it is my DD so i cant have it sitting around for a week so im trying to get the parts i need so i can get it done faster but you guys be the judge..

Does it go away in vtec? if so it's lma's

 

yeah it does go away in vtec.. ok so heres another question, should i replace them with h22 lma's? cuz i heard their better.

 

if you can hear that noise all the way to vtec you have bigger problem like bent valve or timing is off....but listening sound like you need adjustment

 

thanks for the input guys.. me and my boy thought at first it just need an adjustment cuz i dont beat on my car at all and like i said its my DD but i guess ill find out when we take a look at it... any other suggestions?

 

if it does turn out to be lost motions i have many sets h22 gsr typeR just le me know.but you can just take the valve cover off and feel the gap in the rockers takes 3mins you will knoe if they need adjusting

Thinkin about it u may want to test ur injectors and oil pressure
