ok how do i know if my d15b is jdm or not its not vtec.and does any
body have d15b after market header.and how much hp does a d15b1
have.sorry all the ?.think iam going to go b18b1.but i want to make my d15b1 alittle faster until i get the motor.or should i go d16y8 head on my d15b block or should i go d16y7 on my d15b block

 

just save your money for a swap and you will end up getting there much faster than if you start spending money on the d-series engine. also if you want to build the b-series engines internals do it while it is out of the car and it will be much better in the long run

the d15b is jdm. not the d15b1. your source would have been more specific if it was the d15b1/b7. those are both single cam non vtec usdm honda junk motors. get rid of it and go for a b-series.
