Question So, my A/C absolutely sucks sometimes..

Any thoughts?

Bought the thing, A/C doesn't work except for the two highest settings. Also, it's only got two levels of chill: Nippy and Freeze-Anything-In-Sight. Never could figure that out, but it sucked retardedly during the winter. Lately, however, I had a Honda tech tell me that if it wouldn't start up, to tap it, and it would come on. I've had to "tap" (read: kick) it just about every day that I've driven the thing, and sometimes it barely blows at all.

Sounds like the blower motor's screwed, if not the fan, too. My primary concern is getting the thing to blow at all, I'll worry about the heat later. Just throwing this issue out there, for any ideas. It's way too toasty in Tampa..

my sons nissan just did this.the plug that goes to the fan was starting to burn on the terminal ends so i got a set of spade terminals and soldered them to the wires after i cut the plug off.still wouldnt turn on the a/c compressor except in 4th(high) position so i replaced the fan motor switch(which was fried so bad i had to break it off the plug in pieces)it works like a bandit in all 4 speeds now.hope that helps.
