on another note many say that their brakes feel spongy for the first week or two after installing them but it does go away.

Get ready for some pads that dont perform much better than stock and rotors that will warp and cant be turned.

As for the lines I was going to go for them on my setup but the more I thought about it the less I wanted them. 100+ for a slightly firmer pedal isnt bad but then factor in that you have no idea what the state of the lines are a couple years down the road and the fact that road grime will get into the steel braid and slowly abrade the line...it becomes a little dangereous. Then theres also the whole bullshit factor dealing with DOT approval and forcing manufacturers to use crimp style fittings rather than better styles like Areoquips Super Gem style. Bleh the list goes on.
Basically its not worth it because for 100+ bucks all you get is a slightly stiffer pedal inferior lines and the need to change them for safety reasons down the road (sooner than you would rubber).

wasnt ready to spend $85 for the Mu-B force pads and I pretty sure the sloted rotors will work much better then the shitty warped rotors that almost got my car wrecked

I dont know about that...
Plastic zip ties will stretch so they are out of the question and stainless steel zips are expensive and youd need a shit load of em.
