yes 3rd gear, guess what it does?
no surprise, grind. haha Just seemed to have gotten a small 3rd gear grind on the D16Y8. Not low RPM but higher RPM when shifting into it. Should I get some GM Syncromesh?
Synchromesh is always a good idea......problems or not.....
I have used it for years.....I think maybe Pennzoil makes a less
expensive version for the A-parts stores.....
adjusting clutch helps......some people have it release right on the floor,
but sometimes it doesn't have time to fully release, unless you get the release point up a little.
slower shifts for that gear always helps.......-Bob
