Default Has anyone tried to add Power Steering?

I have an 88 Hatch project and recently obtained my 1990 4Dr LS donor car for brakes, knuckles, mounts, cables and misc bolts. Has anyone successfully converted or added power steering into a EF hatch during a B-Series swap and if so, what vehicle did the components come from? Thanks in advance for you input.

90-91 ex civics had ps option. Get the rack from that car and try fitting up the lines from a DA teg along with the DA teg brackets and pump and you should be good to go. Might have to get some custom lines done but it shouldn't be a big deal.

I don't object that you put it back on.....
One more component means one more thing to break.

Why go looking for trouble?......
I took my ps totally off years ago. Made a lightweight blockoff plate to where the hoses fastened to the rack. Still use the ps rack. Small cars don't need power steering.....I can steer it with one finger..........ps fluid is not what lubes the rack anyway....ps also takes some of your horsepower away,-Bob

Thank you all for your input. I remain optimistic that I will be able to blend the 4 dr 1990 Integra LS hardware and lines onto a re-built civic PS unit. I will follow up if and when I am successful. My current focus is stripping the DA down to prepare for the B swap. Thanks Again!

I replaced my crx's rack with a power steering unit, you have to use the crossmember too.
All that you need after that is the cooler, and resevoir from a sedan or hatch with PS (there are a few, all AT) and then if you have a B series youll need to use that pump and have a custom line made because the D series line attaches coming from the back and the B series comes to the pump from the front..so it wont reach but its no biggie.
