I have a 94 integra GSR and i want to convert to a manual rack and pinion. Will one from a 92-95 civic fit(bolt in)? If so what tie rods will i need to use? If not is there any manual rack and pinion that will fit?

 

you can get your power rack to work with out the pump, using ur P/S oil canister.. and it will be softer than a manual, but a bit harder than if you had the pump.. its really the best of both worlds..

One more component means one more thing to break.

Why go looking for trouble?......
I took my ps totally off years ago. Made a lightweight blockoff plate to where the hoses fastened to the rack. Still use the ps rack. Small cars don't need power steering.....I can steer it with one finger..........ps fluid is not what lubes the rack anyway, so you could just plug the holes with brass screw-in plugs instead of looping lines......ps also takes some of your horsepower away when that belt is being pulled by the engine to pump fluid.-Bob

Yes an eg rack will fit and you can use the civic or integra tie rods, the only thing that is diffrent is where it mounts to the car on the passenger side, the mount bracket is bigger than the eg rack so you need a little strip of rubber to take up space. The whole conversion takes less than an hour and just makes it cleaner. If you have any questions feel free to text me
