So, what you're saying is that I can reuse the ones I got even though they were put in backwards? I got the 9mm ones if it makes a difference. I haven't tried to remove the bolts yet due to the shit I may get from the machine shop for doing so. I'm calling ARP at 11 to see what can be done then i'm going to call up the machine shop to tell them the news.

Yeah, apparently ARP produced a bunch of rod bolts with the head off set to the wrong side. I contacted them yesterday and they told me that even though they're offset to the wrong side, that they'll still work perfectly without any interference. They also offered to replace them if there was a clearance problem upon install.

Again Rangcrx, I appreciate your feedback and now everyone can learn from ARP's mistake. Hopefully no clearance issues arise when I assemble the rotating mass of y motor.

Both sides are beveled. one side has a bigger bevel than the other. I have the pro set ARP bolt, part number 208-6401. Yeah, I don't know how close they come but ARP said that there are no clearance issues to date with the "defective" batch they sold hundreds of.

They're going to be going into a B18C block. So, if you know of any issues with setups you've run in the past, I'll be more than glad to hear them.

well all i would say is test one out,i never made a that kindda mistake or heard of one in backwards yet,if you look at stock they have it angled alsoo cause that bolt comes VERY very close to the wall
