Ok so my car 99 civic si has 24500 miles and the clutch is starting to slip. I took it in yesterday to get fixed under warranty but after they tore the tranny off and took a look at the clutch they said they wouldnt cover it because it had hotspots. I never drove the car badly so I know it wasnt my driving. What can I do to get them to fix it? Thanks.

Try a different Honda dealer??? Any Honda dealer has to honor the warranty if its still in affect.

Anyone ive ever talked to has said that Honda is bitchy about replacing clutches under warranty (for obvious reasons-- it is more of a wear and tear item)

I cant believe your clutch is already shot after only 24000miles
