Default F22a block + H22a head help...

I've been working on this swap and I got to the point where i'm supposed to replace the f22 crankshaft cog gear with the h22 unit, the problem is... the gear are noticeable different. I was wondering if anyone here has come across this problem and if I can just grind down the difference on the gear.... or did I recieve the wrong gear?

there is a link to a pic.... it wouldn't let me post it on the forum.

On the left is the h22a lower cog gear... on the right my f22a gear. As you can see the difference is substantial. Any help would be greatly appreciated as always.

yeah I've read that article along with many other from people such as prelittlelude, samiam, and pirate and thats why i'm stumped because no one has mentioned this problem as of now, thats what lead me to believe that i may have recieved the wrong cog gear. Would it hurt if I ground down the excess ring so that the size would fit? The F22 cog gear has 20 teeth and the h22 cog gear has 21 which is what it's supposed to have i believe...

well I called up a buddy of mine and he informed me the gear that I had ordered was actually the h22a4 gear which has a crankshaft positioning sensor, hence the key built onto the back of the gear... I wasn't aware of this seeing how I told the guy I wanted an h22a1 gear. Oh well, live and learn. I got a new H22a1 gear on order and should be able to continue putting this frankenstein back together soon.
