I was just wondering how much if any of a difference a test pipe would make hp wise over a gutted cat. converter. I know w/the gutted cat the airflow isnt as smooth but hp wise and budget wise will it be anywhere similar to having a test pipe?

i bought a high flow cat for my civic off ebay(ashamed to say)b/c i was very broke at the time.It delivered a few hp a was a wise choise as far as budget,i am satisfied, personally i'd go with the cat.
Having trouble with my chek engine light, think its the o2 sensor after the cat,if any1 can giv some advice i'd appreciate it.
