i just got my d16z6 back from gettin fixed i got it back into the car pluged everything up it will turn over just wont fire any ideas im not that good with cars but hey its a single cam what can be so hard lol lmk if you have any ideas that can help me out thanks

 

Check your ground that bolts to the thermostat housing...

 

i got all the grounds hooked up im about to go get a little bit of gas its really low maybe thats it but idk evrything is hooked up right to my knowledge but im not really good with cars so idk what about vacum maybe thats not hooked up right would that effect it to not start at all?

 

Spark, Fuel, Compression

 

Start with fuel. Can you hear the pump kick on? Check for spark. Start with the basics.. There are 2 clips on the wiring harness that if you have them reversed, you won't start. Very common problem...

 

well i got some gas and that helped but it still wont start all the way the most i can get out of it is 2 maybe 3 pops but i wont stay runnin

 

That sounds like your timing belt is off by a tooth.

 

or wires are in wrong order

 

well a buddy of mine fixed my motor i spun a bearing and had to get a new crank and bearing and he is really good with hondas so im pretty sure timming is ok and compession i got spark on piston 1 2 3 but i think my 4th wire is fucked up would that effect it but it was running fine when i had it in before i spun a bearing idk if im completly sure on all the clips but it seems pretty easy so idk help me please lol

 

and which 2 clips are easy to mix up jcarp613
