i have a 97 prelude and i was wondering would a vtec controller work good on it???

Better watch out asking about Preludes here..From what i hear they are the bastard cars of the honda family..Me personally I think they are raw as shit..PreludeTypeR Bwuahah..I have seen preludes with Vtec. or is that just a fake sticker??

 

All preludes have VTEC nowadays....and they probably always did. There is no Prelude type R. Preludes have a 2.2L DOHC (double overhead cam) VTEC engine in them. The DOHC VTEC sticker you saw was correct....but not if it had a type R badge on it. Korn.....seriously.......check out the internet.

 

My dear Teggy I was just playing around iknow there is no such thing as a prelude type r..The only type rs made I think correct me if i am wrong civicTypeR IntegraType R and i think a Skyline Type R??? come on now give me some credit I know some things..But what I dont get people rag on preludes all the time But they come stock with Vtec dont that account for nothing? Not all Preludes came equipped with Vtec and they are bastard cars because they are so friggin heavy and in my experience a pain in the ass to work on.
And please stop posting shit just for the sake of doing so. If you dont know what something is dont go saying you want to slap it on your car or expect someone here to go through your list and explain each item. Do some research...

oh but looking on the internet would be the hard thing to do i mean why not just register here and ask away and hope that someone pitys you and post what you want to hear. with all the honda web rings and all the freaking search engines out there i dont know why people have such basic questions still.
