Default 96 Accord Problem! Help!

So my 96 Accord just died on me last week. I was driving and the engine just cut off. At first I thought maybe my battery had died but my lights, stereo, AC, etc. all were still working. I tried jumping it so I definitely know it's not the battery. There is gas in the car and I've had everything in my engine checked 25k miles ago. It also has only been 4k miles since it's last oil change.

In addition I know it is getting spark because I had a new cap and rotor put in to it last weekend and I don't think it is an electrical problem because my 'check engine' light did not go on.

The car has about 90k miles and has not had any severe problems in the past.

Prior to it's engine fail last week it was hesitating a week or two before sometimes while I was driving.

Any ideas on what this could be?!? I'm a broke college student and would like to save money on taking it to a shop----especially if it's something simple or minor.

Thank youuuuu!

Kristen :]

Tell us how it cut off....like a sudden shut off,
or like the rpms slowly dropped away....or?

Tell us how you know it has spark at the spark plugs.
Tell us how you know it is getting gas into the cylinders.-Bob

Start with the basics. Is it getting spark? pull a wire and hook it to a plug the is touching metal. Can you see spark when you roll the motor? Fuel, can you hear the pump turn on when you turn the key to the start position? Let us know, and we will go from there...
