jdm d15b crankshaft

Default jdm d15b crankshaft

is there a crankshaft i can use for my jdm d15b block other than the jdm d15b crank that is the same stroke/size (pretty much the same thing)

you can use a d16z6 or d16y8

i believe the jdm d15b is different from all of the d series motors

thats what i have heard, i heard the pistons were different and people were having a hard time finding rods that worked. i didnt think aboutthe crank tho.

d15b,d16z6,d16y7,d16y8 all have the same size rods ,the the only difference is the crank and the pistons have diff compression but all have the same bore.

since the stroke is different and the rods are the same length the piston heights are different thats where i rn into trouble but im pretty sure the d15b7 pistons will work and give me about the same compression

i jsut didnt know if there was a different crank i could use because finding a jdm d15b is proving to be difficult
