I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Thank you. Found some more info on the swap, and been talking to some people and they say that a b16 is something i should look into since i am a beginner. Thoughts on that? I know you can rev the piss out of those engines but what can i expect from doing that swap? My ultimate goal right now is 3-350 Wheel on boost. Can i achieve this easier with a B16 or is it the same shit?

To get get 300-350 whp on either one your going to have to do the same shit, and the b series stuff is more expensive. If you wanted a power level that wouldnt require replacing the the internals etc then the b series will make more power stock for stock.

So regardless i would have to get internals. How much boost can good internals hold? I have seen some build with 600+ h/p If i have to do internals and all that shit i might as well do it right the 1st time. So cheap = zc swap stock with low boost. Pricey but better in long run = B16 swap with internals on boost. I think i made a choice. What cv's do i have to use for the swap i've read that you can use da once or something along those line i've also seen some sold to fit my car with a b-series swap.

I wouldnt build a b16, while your doing it you might as well build a b18..

If you want the cheaper route to your goal go to turbod16.com

a 350whp sohc can be had for about 700 roughly.
