Teg Engine Swap Opinion??

your integra has 142hp and 127lbs of torque. what was said earlier is correct...because of the cars excessive weight(around 2600 lbs) having very little torque isnt the best set up. thats why you see very few integras with engine swaps and many hatchbacks with engine swaps. basically..the better the hp-weight ratio the faster your car will be. i would say your best bet is to find a b18c1(gsr engine) or sell your integra for a hatch or maybe even a del sol...as theyre lighter and will respond better to modifications.

just want to say sorry ahead of time but that GSR engine does it Have V-tec? Come to think of it I never heard of a Teg with V-tec is that only a civic thing? I may be wrong

Integra LS and GS models DO NOT have VTEC....they are the same engine....1.8L DOHC non-VTEC.....GS-R and Type R DO have VTEC...1.8L DOHC VTEC.

LS/GS = 142hp-127lb/ft
GS-R = 170hp-128lb/ft
Type R = 195hp-130lb/ft

dude you really need to buy a book or find a web site to answer all theses questons of yours an i dont know why you would waste your money swapin a b16 into a integra?i hate to say it cause i know you will have more questons but.. ever hear of LSVTEC???a vtec head on a non vtec block ???hello mcfly anybody home ?

Yeah thats why I was wondering i never heard of a Teg with Vtec..Hey whats the GS-R mean? Nah Id prolly be best of waiting to get a type R engine Or would be easier to get a GS-R engine in a LS? Is there just a GS Teg? And also the GS R it comes with DOHC?

Damn it yes man But I was orinally questioning weather or not that Tegs can get vtec i never saw one with vtec..then I was wondering what Teg engines had DOHC..Thats all Jeez.

Man what the the fuck if i say I havnt then Guess what NO i aint seen one with Vtec But judging from that post I guess they do. does the GSR engine have Vtec? AND NO I SERIOUSLY DONT KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION SO PLEASE HOLD ARE YOUR SARCAISM.
